This is an entry for :iconphotonig:'s reverse lens competition.[link]

It's the inside of a geode taken while handholding my 18-55mm to the front of the camera. I used an LED maglite to light it and a fluorescent white balance.

Thank you so much. I tried it with plain fluorescent light but it just didn't give it the color and brilliance that the blue did although I didn't know before trying this that the LEDs would turn out to be blue! I loved this challenge because it made me try so many new things that I normally wouldn't have.
