After the Rain by chalutplease After the Rain by chalutplease
Taken in Tarpon Springs Florida after waiting under a store awning for a half hour while it rained. It turned out to be well worth it!

I'm glad you like it. This was taken as part of "Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photowalk Day" [link] last year. I'm already looking forward to this year!

Thanks Ruth! This is one of the shots I took for the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk in August. Unfortunately it didn't place with the camera club, the people or the contest! Shucks! I still had an amazing time though.

We're past the rain now and are starting to have fires spring up in all kinds of places.

really, with all the 'hurricanes' that have been swirling around over there? and you're on fire watch? Ikk! I don't want to jinx it, but I think we (California that is) got away without any major fires this year!

I'm crossing my fingers...none of those storms have even come close to us. We're on the Gulf Coast and the High Pressure systems came down early this year so it's been at least 7 weeks without rain. The season isn't over yet though!

I guess with the Platform problems it is probably a good thing you haven't had any!

Looks like our summer is over - we've had two inches of rain in the last 24 hours, forecast to continue tonight with 70% chance for tomorrow! Our rainstorms don't usually start until mid to late November...

2 inches in 24 hrs doesn't seem like much. Here we can get that in less than an hour! The streets flood regularly but it disappears pretty quickly too usually. I'll cross my fingers for you that it only slightly drizzles instead of pouring on you.

LOL, yes a drizzle to you...but we're not talking tropical rain here
